Asbury Women will host a booth at the Selwyn School’s Pumpkin Festival in Denton on Saturday October, 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Ladies, please be finishing up your craft items for sale and please be considering the prices for each item. Time is going by quickly-so we need to get everything inline now. THIS IS OUR MAJOR FUNDRAISER FOR THE YEAR! Keep in mind that the Asbury Methodist Women help fund many of the ministries here at Asbury with the proceeds from this is bazaar such as camp scholarships for children and youth, women’s Bible studies, toys for sick children, donations to the ARM ministry and many others as the need arises. However, we need your help to get this done! Thanks for supporting us in the past and thank you in advance for your support this year.

A “Joining Sunday” is currently scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd (the Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving).  A pre-membership meeting with Pastor Rob will be scheduled soon.  If you would like to become a member of Asbury UMC, let the Church Office know at 940-387-6487.

Asbury UMC’s Annual Fall Festival wil be held on Saturday, Octoboer 25th from 5 to 7 P.M.

Thank You Dr. Gaylen Fickey, DDS for the generous donation of 4 dozen tooth brushes and toothpaste to our Asbury Food Pantry. Toiletries are always a welcome donation! If you are looking for a dentist…here’s a good one! It’s a great thing to “support those that support us”!

It’s hard to believe that it is time to decorate the Church for Christmas  It is a little earlier this year but the goal is to begin decorating Saturday morning November 15th so it will be complete in time for the Motorcycle Run and Carnival which begins around noon that same day.  This event needs as many people to help as possible to accomplish this goal.  Besides, it is fun and becomes another opportunity to fellowship with others.

Support Elida Dakoli, Pianist at Steinway Hall

There will be a DUO PIANO PLUS CONCERT called PianoMania with Asbury’s own, Elida Dakoli, taking place at Steinway Hall.  The program will include the following - the first part will include old classical Spanish music feature Elida and Do Young Kim; the second part several jazz numbers with two other performers on the piano and acoustic bass.  Please go and support Elida!
